@jaymonkey, ok, so I had called apple with code after booting up with Clover from USB. I was certain no values changed after rebooting. I got it so I could log in, but was stuck with the red user "user is not a user of imessages" for everyone. So I was doing fiddling again and got locked out...

Okay, so I called and got past the error code. But now I'm getting the dreaded "user is not registered with imessages". I'm booting with Clover. Anyone have any idea why?

Okay, installed Clover on USB to boot up. Got it working, using iMac 13,2. Did the clover configurator option to generate 13,2 and serial number. Should I be safe now to call Apple with code? And everything should stay the same if I boot up with the USB each time so I don't get locked out again...

@jaymonkey Hey, thanks for your help in this thread. I had to use it before to get my iMessages going. I have GA-Z77X-UP5-TH - i7 3770 - GeForce GTX 670 for my system, and it seems to be what you have. I am now getting the "call apple support" with error code. So I wanted to get everything...

So I also have the GA-Z77X-UP5-TH, is that the common denominator? Anyone with a different motherboard having the same problem?

Thanks for information and help. Basically I get no error. All contacts show up Red Color if I open a chat with them. If I right click on them it shows the 1111111111 is not registered with iMessage.

I'm getting "Recipient is not registered iMessage User" on all my contacts. I can sign in fine, app store works. I've changed password, re-added my credit card with no luck. Are you suggesting to call apple on this? I have no other error messages displayed. Before this happening like 5 days ago...

Can't be it. I have an ipod and Iphone associated with my apple id and all users on my contact list are actually apple users, not hackintosh users. So not sure what the problem is. GA-Z77X-UP5-TH That's the board I'm using on my build.

Was having same problem with my GA-Z77X-UP5-TH. Thanks for this thread, the instructions to use older kext for network driver seems to have solved my issue. Hopefully they can figure why the newer driver doesn't seem to be working and fix it.

So I upgraded to Maverick and I can't get the free updates to work for iWork and iLife. Are you saying if I did a fresh install of Maverick then I would be able to get the newest versions of them free from app store without any errors?

Since my gigabyte board limits the speed to 41 x 106 = 43 where @PJALM your board overclocks using the 43 x 106 = 45, could I push my baseclock little higher to like 109/110 or will that be too much and risk damaging something? Thanks for any help.

Finally the H60 cooler arrived, installed. Using PJALM settings, working fine so far.
