Information regarding the 10.10.2 Update causing a system hang. Multibeast incorrect boot flag order. I think that the order of the multibeast boot flags in org.chameleon.Boot.plist was causing my system to hang. I do not have a graphics card only using HD4000 graphics. Maybe the...

Yosemite, mach kernel error, the EFI partition, and boot loaders... In some cases extra steps could have been taken to clean up the root of your Mavericks install. One of these steps was to move the bootloader and /extra folder to the useless EFI partition. Unfortunately when upgrading to...

When chimera tries to boot does it show the picture of Yosemite or an open apple? If it shows an open apple the correct chimera isn't upgrading when you do the multibeast settings. If this is true you will have to follow parts of the guide that I mentioned above. If this is the case than I...

I will try to do that again, I have installed grub to multiple different partitions such as /dev/sda3 also the boot loader was in the efi drive that osx created, and in the disk /dev/sda I must be doing something wrong but I do know that chimera/chameleon will pick up a ntsf drive or fat32/16...

    Dual Boot MacOSX and Linux

I think the way Chameleon/Chimera recognizes an OS to boot is via the GPT partition scheme. There is a field called "Boot Code" which is unrelated to the Partition type. I don't know how to change the "Boot Code" however with Disk Utility in OSX if a fat32 or ntsf (xfat) partition is created...

I don't know why i didn't get the disk error. Probably because I reinstalled so many times trying to get past the grey apple loading screen to finish the install. But thank you for the terminal command. I probably will need it later. Right now I saw some information about making the SSD...

I have tried several different BIOS settings and can't seem to get past the apple screen with the loading circle under the open apple. I am on your step 7 (I installed Mountain Lion booted to SSD, stuck on loading screen) and don't really think that it has anything to do with the bios. Maybe I...
