Just make a fresh installation and stay with 10.7.3. Check if your hard drive mode is set to "AHCI" in your Bios/UEFI.

nope it is not supported, because Mountain Lion is 64 bit only and it has no 64 bit drivers for the GeForce 7xxx anymore :-( I have the same issue with my 7950 GTX. Just stay with Snow Leopard / Lion.
