I hope you get it sorted. Would you mind sharing your EFI Folder (minus serial numbers), as we have identical systems, and my EFI had given me troubles lately (not sure if its hardware or software related).
Much much appreciated!
I had the same issue suddenly on all displayports (HDMI was still with odd resolution but could get 60hz). For me it was because I had turned on Super Resolution in Windows (yes it somehow stayed for OSX Monterey). Once I turned it off, I got 60hz and my monitor profile wasn’t wierd with...
Hehe - can’t beat great gameplay! I mostly play emulation on my “hacked” Nintendo Switch. So great to have it on-the-go & on the couch/bed.
Maybe give Diablo 2 Resurrected a try, it looks stunning with the 6900xt (4k@60fps), and super relaxing (If you play Paladin). Eventhough it’s based 100%...
Yeah you missed all the “fun” But thanks again.
The card is in performance mode.. and once I did the test a few more times I got 186-193k. Plenty enough :)
The card runs stable at can clock to 2800mhz in windows with 65c/80c junction, so quite satisfied, and ready for Diablo 2...
Thank you all!
That was the best support on this site I have ever gotten. @tedyun thanks for the guidance. @Feartech Thanks for future warning and tools for changing config and validation. Definately needed in the future :-D
I am too happy to contain myself. Cheers all :-D
Thanks for helping in too. I just added you file to my ACPI folder in EFI. I tried to see how you added the Device Properties, but mines looks completely different in OpenCore Configurator.
Perhaps you can help add the line? I'm running iMac Pro and i know theres some GFX conversions already to...
Hi again @tedyun
Okay I took screenshots of both Hackintool & IOREG. Hopefully they make sense to you :)
And hopefully I won't need to do any swapping cards around to get it "sorted" (crossing fingers).
Cheers!
Hi @tedyun :)
Good to hear from you.
Indeed very scattered and not totally straight forward :shifty:
I’m on OpenCore . Unfortunately I do not have the VII but I do have an 6800 XT (about to get sold sometime this week). Although! I do get picture on the 6900XT(XH), but not...
Congrats. I got lucky on a 6900 (XTXH), and have to follow in your footsteps.
I’m totally green when it comes to compiling etc.
Is there any “novice” friendly step-by-step guide on how to do this?
Also is it any easier with the WEG device-id spoofing adition?
You are simply awesome. I run iMac Pro 1,1 right now, is this compatible with your setup?
Right now i’m running clover 51xx and the latest Catalina, can I just boot your efi from USB and slowly take it from there? (With the added serial numbers etc.). Without full reinstall.
Sorry for the slight diversion:
@JimmakoS could you share your EFI/open core setup? I saw that you got Big Sur running, and im tooo scared to go blind into open core on my z370 gaming 7 setup
Hot damn! That actually works.... man your a time saver :-D Thanks 1000. (tested 1 time, so 100% success so far)
Now I just need to get my z370 Gaming 7 bios to see my GC-Titan Ridge (latest firmware + no hardware attached to interfer). Nearly there!
Anyone experiencing sound issues? I sometimes get this glitched sound (like a really bad cell phone reception), and only a reboot will solve it. It‘s very random, and come at 2min after reboot or several hours. Very annoying.
Been there since Catalina.
Maybe @pastrychef knows about it...
