    Hi, I have installed Sonoma, which is working fine, but for some reason, which I've never seen before, Google Chrome sometimes when loading a we page (any random page) come up with the 'Aw Snap! Something went wrong, code 11' messgae, if I reload, a couple times, it then loads the page fine...

    I am now booting Sonoma again. It turned out my BIOS settings had changed, maybe updated by the windows install?!? Once I reset the BIOS setting to Default, then updated back to what I had, MacOS booted fine.

    Unfortunatley, using the USB to boot, I get the same result, even choosing 'Install MacOS Sonoma', it gets to a short way into the MacOS boot and reboots. I've attached a screen grab of where it stops. Any other ideas please?

    Thank you MasterAmp, it's funny you should say that, I updated my BIOS last night to latest (01.16.00 Rev.A), and I couldn't boot, getting stuck at Apple Logo loading, got to about 50%, so like you I reverted back to my previous version which was (01.08.01 Rev.A). What BIOS are you on?

    I have been using RehabMans method on my HP 440 G5 with no issues for the past 3 years, I haven't updated in a long time, currently on Clover with Catalina, but was looking at updating to BigSur. MasterAmp seems to have a good working method, so will hopefully copy yours.

    Hi thanks for the reply. Yes, I did follow the probook guide. I replaced with your SSDT-4x0G4k.aml, rebooted, and now ID 21 is reflected in Hackintool, and I now have headphone socket working, thank you so much. For future updates, what did you do, how can I replicate the edit my end please?

    If I am on the USB section and I click Export button, it states "Rename Required, renaming EC0 to EC...", if I click OK, it will mount the EFI Partition and patch my config.plist.

    Apologies, it turned out my issues were all config.plist related, something had altered it without my knowledge. I restored to a backed up version from a few weeks ago, and now all is well.

    Dell XPS 13 9333 Headphone socket noise

    For those facing the same issue, I found the fix. I removed AppleHDA_ALC668.kext (a rouge kext not doing anything), then tried alternative layout ID's and found that ID 27 was the winner I now have a working headphone socket.
