NVIDIA Announces 'Pascal' Graphics Drivers Coming to MacOS

Not perfect timing for us. We've been waiting nearly a year with no response to hundreds of attempts to Nvidia for clarification.

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS Sierra 10.12.2 (367.15.10.25)

Anyone else tired of people who don't respect forum rules? This is not a help thread. What's the point of the staff having tons of threads devoted to every issue if people just hijack threads with technical issues?

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS Sierra 10.12.0 (367.15.10.05)

I'm sorry I thought this thread wasn't the 970 support forum. A lot of us are actually waiting for news on Pascal driver support only to constantly read whether or not someone got an outdated GPU to work or not.

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS Sierra 10.12.0 (367.15.10.05)

Would also love to hear news about Pascal, have GTX 1080s in SLI and am stuck in Windows. Really though, need Unibeast for macOS Sierra too. Not going to install El Capitan then upgrade, prefer a clean install.

    Gigabyte 8-Series Motherboard UEFI Updates - 2014/03/19

So I have Z87X-UD5H, and this improved overclocking doesn't seem to make any difference, I still have issues with reboots if I go past 4.5GHz.. which is exactly what happened on all the other firmwares prior to the new F9. So what has improved?

I suspect screen sharing is using your onboard graphics which is why you can see it. Are you sure you properly installed the correct driver? Nvidia released a final version for 10.9.2 which I can confirm works with my EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Superclocked. Link is here...

    GTX 780 Ti

Once you install the drivers reboot and boot using nv_disable=1 one last time, the reason for this is when you install the nvidia driver it doesn't automatically begin using that as your default video driver, it will still use the OS X driver until you tell it otherwise. On the top notification...

    GTX 780 Ti

The reason why I say Nvidia should fix their drivers properly is they seemed to have rushed the newer drivers out, you posted them within a couple of hours of 10.9.2 being released. Apple doesn't seem to care about making proper drivers that include support for GK110b, maybe because they...

    GTX 780 Ti

For me, the nvidia drivers built in to OS X did not work, I had to use nv_disable=1 and with the beta drivers you linked to I'm getting random boots with kernel panics, I'd advise anyone with a working 780 Ti that uses 10.9.1 to stay there unless you absolutely have to upgrade. Stay until Nvidia...
