Hi, So, after a couple month break I got back to my Lenovo 330S. And in the interim my DW 1820A arrived, CN-096JNT. I installed the card and tried booting, and then tried installing AirportBRCMFixup and BRCMPatchRAM3. And... well nothing, the system will not boot... but even worse... it...

OK... so... I went to my brothers house and gave him the same steps I followed... he did the same thing... and it worked... neither of us know why, but it did. That said... I now have a totally different problem, but as it is unrelated to this problem I will start a new thread for it.

I did use Vega's guide... no clue what is wrong... I stepped away from this project for a while, just getting back to it. And honestly, for my purposes, I do not need the battery, trackpad, or lid closing to work... I only need systems that run Qlab.

Sorry for the late reply, I stepped away from this project for a while... All of my previous hackintosh builds have installed 1st time with no problem. I actually installed 10.13.14 before it was supported on this site. However... this one is annoying me. I have tried switching between FakeSMC...

Files have not changed... I find a solution, it does not work, I remove it and try the next one... my current configuration is exactly the same as the last upload.

I have researched this issue on other posts... but none of the solutions I have found that worked for other people have allowed me to get past this problem.

Ok... I was able to make an Active@ Recovery USB... used that to wipe all partitions from the SSD... then booted from the USB... and was then able to format with Disk Utility... and install Catalina, which seems to have completed, system rebooted a couple times during install.... But... Still...

So... I literally left it sitting... and it eventually booted into the install media... keyboard and mouse not working... I have USB... but... even though it can see my SSD... Disk Utility fails to format it. Any ideas on that?

Third and Fourth reboots selected to boot from MacOS Finally to desktop... running Multibeast

On first reboot... loaded from Clover... three boot options given... Install from USB, Install Preboot from Preboot, Install from MacOS... It appears that the Preboot option is the correct choice
