I just applied the update and the network card is now showing but is saying that the cable is disconnected. I'll try a new cable when i can dig one out of storage.
My apologies, you're right! They must have combined the PDFs. Last night i found one for each version of the OS.
If you look at note (5): "The Presto Gigabit Ethernet Pro uses an Apple macOS naive driver. Sonnet has filed a bug report with Apple. "
Hoping they fix this soon. I added this...
No sorry, that is the compatibility list for Sierra not High Sierra. The link I sent has a broken link to the High Sierra PDF. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Maybe they are updating it.
The PDF on this site went away, I guess, but it was there yesterday.
If you are running the card in the subject line, there is a note in the compatibility update for High Sierra that the card uses native drivers in macOS, and it is broken. In my build it shows no installed Ethernet cards. The...
Still no crash. I think I can close the book on this one. For those of you out there still within warranty. Give it an RMA. Seems theres a bad batch of cards out there.
Scratch that comment about the flicker. I notice it still, I did the nvidia calibration thing and it is 99% gone. Probably just my old LCD.
On the up side, it is the morning and no crash still! Fingers crossed.
I'm on 10.8.2 with the newest nvidia drivers. If all is well i'm going to...
Got my replacement 560ti RMA in today. Plugged it in, booted right up. One thing I notice now is that there is no flicker. Before it was like the card was set to 50hz or something. So that seems to be resolved (thought i don't imagine it is related). I've slept and woke several times so far...
detholm, Sorry for the wait! I have not tried a clean install on this yet. I started using windows more because this was so inconvenient. What i found was that the card did the same thing in windows! Only, less frequently and windows would recover after the error and drop a graphics driver...
Gotcha, so when you run multibeast again, the installed options persist. How does one go about removing them? Do you just remove the related kext?
trying to get a handle on how this works logistically.
Say i checked something off the first time i ran multibeast and I didn't check it off the second time. Does the original item remain installed from the first run?
Thanks
I'm also wondering how it is going? I've been thinking about doing a new clean install of 10.8.2 as cmetom did. I PMed cmetom but i got no response =(. Hopefully he hasn't been back because hes had no issues... amirite??
Anyone else try this? before I wipe my whole system out.
off topic...
Confirmed Pro Audio Interfaces & Drivers - Mac OS X
Tascam US-1800 confirmed working flawless in lion and mountain lion with Garageband and Logic Pro 9.
One Caveat. The interface also works for system sounds and iTunes. For some reason i get no audio through VLC with the us-1800 selected...
Thanks guys. Looks like an unsolvable problem for now. I had that crash the first night but it has never happened since. Hopefully it is a rare occurrence.
System is still running like a champ!
Hello everyone! First time poster. I built my system last night and installed mountain lion very easily. No hiccups :headbang:. See specs below.
I have full audio, video, and network. Diablo 3 runs great! Sleep seems to work, however when i left it on overnight the screen was black and...
