After further research - it might be the ex-fat formatted drive that is causing the splash screen hang.. Does that sound like the problem? If so - what other options do I have for large cross OS compatible drives?

Doesn't overlap, about 2mm space between them. So quite tight, but it fits. Because of that, 25mm won't fit, that would make it overlap. The fans are super quiet. :thumbup:

Hyper 412 Slim fits, just installed it.

I found multiple reviews that stated it does fit high profile RAM. http://skratchwizpc.com/reviews/closer-look-testing/ for example. Fans are only 15mm thick! Should be building it up tomorrow or friday.

I just bought the Hyper 412 Slim (so i can use full sized RAM) will let you know how it goes

Hey all, I'm putting together a new build, I know there are a lot of these threads but any input is appreciated! I'm a professional photographer, so this will mostly be used for Lightroom/Photoshop and handling large RAW/TIFF files. Usually batches in the 1000's of files from weddings etc...
