I updated to 10.9.4 yesterday although I had skipped 10.9.3 I used the multibeast for 10.9.4 which still did not work perfectly for my board Gigabyte X79 UD5 2011 from 2012 build. I checked the 898 audio and nothing else, just what was auto checked for without DSDT. In my...

GA-X79-UD5 with GTX680 and 3930k SUCCESS with Mavericks

I'm not sure why but I've never had any problems with the sleep. I see I do have a SleepEnabler Kext installed from my old set but I think they include it in multibeast now don't they ? Anyway check and see if you have a SleepEnabler Kext installed, if not it might help.

GA-X79-UD5 with GTX680 and 3930k SUCCESS with Mavericks

I just thought I'd give my progress on installing Mavericks, since following the guide's flags didn't work for me. I did everything the install guide said except for the flags... I used these: -x, GraphicsEnabler=No, npci=0x2000 That got me to the start of the install, I erased the...

GA-X79-UD5 with a GTX 680 still no audio for ACL898

Ok this was a case of thinking to much. Lorengrin gets the credit again here with his advice: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-lion-desktop-guides/65515-mountain-lion-ga-x79-ud5-3820-gtx-560-ti.html I downloaded his files. I manually installed his Extra folder on my drives root folder, the...

GA-X79-UD5 with a GTX 680 still no audio for ACL898

I got everything running super fast.. photoshop opens in like 2 seconds, but I still have no audio. I've went through every option of multibeast without dsdt to try and get it to go. Tried once with DSDT, broke everything. Wondering if the only way is with DSDT.. and if so what version.. the...

GA-X79-UD5 with GTX680, what do I really need from multibeast ?

Yes, I had installed from multibeast for my 680 card, guessing this is cuda... it seems to work fine. The flickering has gone away although I don't know why, I did another permissions repair and it hasn't really come back. I'm on DVI, and I read something about trying HDMI instead.. I'm using...

GA-X79-UD5 with GTX680, what do I really need from multibeast ?

I've installed multibeast a few times now, the first bunch with "failed" installation screens... Re installed ML several times and finally got a succeeded screen, but then got kernal panics. So I'm wondering what I really need from Multibeast ? I have the high end build.. 3930k I intend to...
