@hemon How did you end up fixing the installer not seeing your USB?

The main thing I'd suggest is trying different USB ports, definitely want to be in one of the "mapped" ones. EDIT: Also check the Scan Policy in the EFI:

If you want to take over, and post your updated EFI's like I was, let me know, I can always link them in the first post. (Just remember to change your personal stuff to "ChangeMe" or something similar before uploading... serial, MLB, UUID, etc.)

Since the 10900K machine is now my son's, I'm not going to be actively updating the EFI. With that said, I'd highly recommend OCAT, it does the whole thing for you, and does a great job. Takes a bit to learn, but it's worth it. (Mainly steps 3 and 4 in this guide)

Gaming ... right now I'm not running hackintosh on the 13900K, I have my work MBP setup with a KVM for that. I've looked into it and it can be done, but I don't think it would be as stable.

I rebuilt my rig a few months ago, my son now has the 10900K machine. I would suggest updating with OCAT, it makes it really easy once you learn the app.

Oh wow, I probably forgot to clean out that folder. Yeah if they're not enabled in the config.plist you can delete them. I'll delete them from my EFI folder now so that doesn't happen going forward. So yes, all you need is VT-d enabled in your UEFI.

Glad to hear you got it (mostly) working! The no wake from sleep from keyboard / mouse is a known issue, you can try removing SSDT-GPRW.aml and the matching PATCH under ACPI to see if it helps. Also look for any "wake from USB" settings in the BIOS / UEFI.

If you follow that guide to the letter, you should be REPLACING the values that I have in the EFI, so you end up with just one Window 11 entry. I believe I already have the options required to properly boot Windows, as that's how I boot it.

If you're using my latest EFI, I already have the bootarg removed. 13.3 seems pretty stable to me, I would only upgrade if there's new features in Ventura that you want to use.

My latest EFI is already setup for Ventura, you just need to enable VT-d in the BIOS. BIOS Setup --> VT-d --> Enabled

Yeah, I broke down and bought that card back in 2018 because it was natively supported. EVERYTHING works, never have to mess with kexts, etc.

Yes ... although most of the time I just shutdown and reboot, because after sleep my fans tend to get "stuck" and not spin faster / slower based on temps. Happens in Windows too, I think it's a bug with my Corsair Commander or something...
