After I installed Clover via EFI tool, I can no longer boot into Mac. Any tips? Namely, Clover boots from BIOS, but it only gives the option to boot into UEFI or "legacy", no mac. If I plug my USB back in, it will boot into mac verbose mode but then auto-restarts before a full boot.. Any help?

Radeon HD 7770 - Still no go

Would a 6450 work to boot with? I mean, I have to put boot flags specific to the 6450 in the bootloader, so how could that work?

Radeon HD 7770 - Still no go

Hey all, I have an MSI Radeon 7770 1GB GHz Edition, running 10.8.3 on a GA-Z77-DS3H. I have scoured the forum and google for a working solution, but have yet to find one. I do have two monitors (one HDMI and the other DVI), and I do have a MBR formatted Chimera). Without making any changes, I...

On f8, I would wait since the f10 is a beta.

If you want to use a USB 3.0 device (at USB3 speeds), you need to plug it into a USB3 port. If you want to use a USB2 device, you need to plug it into a USB2 port. The USB3 Hub would therefore only be useful if you had only four USB3 ports on your MoBo but wanted to use 5 USB3 devices @ USB3 speeds.

Yes, I think he expressly noted USB3.0 hub into a USB3.0 port. USB 3 can read 2/3, not vice versa

Might be useful to upload MoBo settings and kernel boot flags, not just for myself but for everyone. The USB issue is strange, and tough to reconcile - they are USB 3.0, which might cause complications, but they work under Windows 7. Also, installing USB 3.0 drivers and TRIM (not sure which)...

Hmm, but for some reason, some USB ports just don't work. Even ones from motherboard, they don't seem to power USB drives? Any advice? xHCI seems a likely culprit but I tinkered with every possible choice...

When you boot into OSX, hit down on the keypad. Then you can manually enter kernel parameters.
