There's no way to disable the gpu in chimera/chameleon. Perhaps you have the possibillity to Disable the GPU in your Bios???

Try this, on the Chimera bootscreen hit the down Arrow Cursor Key and select Video. At the output have a look if your GFX Cards Vesa Mode supports that Resolution. If your Card doesn't support that Resolution, theres no chance for you to get it
