I have already applied OpenCL patch, >2G memory patch, and modified my AGPM.kext.
My benchmark score were even higher than yours.
BUT, i just can't make 660 ti works smoothly with my FCPX effects/rendering.
An "NVDA(OpenGL): Channel exception! exception" error still crashs my whole system.
sleep and wake work just fine with my MSI R6870 (with gigabyte Z77-DS3H MB and 3770K CPU)
as to benchmark score, here are what i got~
CINEBENCH GPU OpenGL: 52 fps
Luxmark: 605
geekbench: 13567
Most important thing is: I can run FCPX effects smoothly with my R6870.
HD6870 has better performance than gt640 (see: http://www.hwcompare.com/12866/geforce-gt-640-ddr3-vs-radeon-hd-6870/ )
I'm using MSI R6870-PM2D1GD5 1G GDDR5, works perfectly with OSX 10.8.1 and FCPX.
Totally agree with you!
I can successfully run all benchmark and test for my 660 ti, but failed to run FCPX and it's plug-in.
Maybe FCPX 10.0.6 will solve it?
I've gave up using 660ti with my FCPX.
No matter how i tried, OpenGL issue still exist in FCPX and crashed every time when i try to use effects/transition...
I've bought an Ati-6870 instead and it works perfectly with FCPX.
I've tried to modify my AGPM, however, it seems make no difference.
Sometimes FCPX rendering still got failed. (and sometime successful rendering without any issue, weird!)
Need help!
This happen many time when i am using FCPX (rendering).
System crash and need to be reboot.
I've check the log, it seems that something wrong with my graphic card (GTX660Ti)?
Need help!
12/8/21 下午6:42:42.692 Final Cut Pro[286]: *** OpenGL error 0x0506 (invalid framebuffer operation)...
Failed to run CUDA acceleration with NeatVideo inside FCPX on my 660Ti.
I've tried GraphicsEnabler=No, PCIRootUID=0.
Both FCPX and OSX will be crashed after running CUDA on NeatVideo.
OpenCL seems be fine.
Anyone have same issue?
sleep/wake works without any Multibeast modification.
Only following this article to set up BIOS.
