I had the same problem. After restoring my time machine backup from my mavericks hackintosh I also wasn't able to boot anymore. So I installed El Capitan once more, used the migration assistance again and unseleted the "Other files and folders" before migrating...
I just build a hackintosh with the GA-Q77M-D2H and Mavericks.
Use this MultiBeast 6.3 settings:

TRIM Enabler (because of using a SSD)

Thanks, but there was no problem at all. I just wanted to mention that I used GE=No for installation, but I don´t know if this was really necesarry at all.
I wanted an optical S/PDIF too:
You can find these brackets on ebay. they are called "Gigabyte 12CR1-1SPOUT-03R RCA SPDIF Audio Bracket". Maybe there is a new audio kext available, but I gave up trying since then.
I installed the Combo update. After the reboot I used Multibeast to install the audio driver again. After that my hackintosh didn´t boot anymore. But I didn´t panic because the community here is sooo great :thumbup: I searched 5min and found the solution here...

I am using a GA-B75M-D3H and had the same problem. No it works like a charm again :clap:
I have a 660 TI so I had boot with "GraphicsEnabler=No -x"
I also use a receiver + HDTV and sometimes have to turn it off and on to get a picture. But I also have this problem with my macbook and other notebooks. So I think its not an issue of the hackintosh. :D

my apple keyboard works like a charm now :) "alt+L" is now a "@" and so on. great!

I also like my M4 SSD. My case (SilverStone Grandia GD05B USB 3.0) is really small, so my temps are a little bit higher then in a midi tower.

i replaced the case fans with 3 Scythe Slip Stream 120 800rpm but I don´t use the PWM case fan...
Yesterday I installed Windows 7 on a second hard drive. this was really easy. I used Disc Utilities, selected the second HD and format it GUID and partition it FAT. Reboot and install Win7 via DVD or flashdrive. Fin! :)
when booting from 1st HD at the chimera screen I press the right arrow key...
