Same here. I don't think messages will ever work on our FrankenMacs. Also, I don't have "Allow Handoff between this mac and your iCloud devices" in my System Preferences. Is there a fix for that?
After I little bit of trial and error with multibeast, I have everything working! I had to install a kext to get mu USB 3 to work, though. And I'm having trouble with continuity, as in, it doesn't work. Neither does iMessage. Anyone know of a fix for these things? Great guide, btw.
I've tried this fix a couple of times, to no avail. I have the latest FileNVRAM, but I don't have a file called nvram.uuid.plist in my /Extra folder. This is driving me crazy!
MY USB thumb drive that I boot from is acting up. Disk Utility says to verify, then to repair. Repair cannot be completed, so I have to format it again and recreate it as my boot drive. Instead, I purchased a new one. So, how do I recreate a new USB drive to boot from and not screw it up? Thanks...
OK, I edited the plist and changed the graphics enabler to No. Everything works now except my wifi. I'm using a Netgear WNDA3100 USB stick. Once again, thanks for your help!

I re-ran multibeast just for s**ts and giggles, and now my computer boots to the grey screen with the Apple logo and just sits there. Can someone please help me out? This shouldn't be so difficult!
OK, I think I properly installed the Multibeast tools. My desktop fits the screen now, but my graphics are still screwy. How do I fix that? I would like to use the wifi USB adaptor I just bought, but OS X doesn't recognize it. Is there any way I can use it? It's a Netgear WNDA3100. I have no...
Performed a clean install of Mavericks. Had to use -x to do it, and also to continue to boot into mavericks, but it worked. Now i have another problem: I can't get any usb thumb drives to work on mavericks, therefore I can't install multibeast. The only one that'll work is the unibeast...
