Hi @Vitaminianos, I got rid of the error by doing the following (In clover i.e. the boot drive selector screen)
In boot options
- removed nvda_drv=1
- went into Graphics Injector and unticked Nvidia injection and USB injection for Nvidia web drivers.
- also connected via HDMI (probably...
I'm assuming you replied to me since I got an email notification. I've found a workaround on mine, it was actually a problem with the cable.
1. Make sure you have the latest Chimera
2. Don't use VGA
3. If you have dual monitors, after booting the DVI-connected monitor will be distorted. Just...
It has been a while, and I still can't seem to find a solution. Can any body help please?
I've been scouring the forums for an answer, but can't seem to find anyone else with the same issue, I even did a full reinstall - tried different strings (just randomly).
Obviously, I get graphics...
Hi All,
I was hoping someone could help me, I've gone through quite a few threads but can't find anyone with the same problem.
So graphics acceleration works fine on ML, using DVI-only get full resolution and all - BUT there are some glitches on the screen all the time. They're tiny speckles...
Hi All,
I've just received my DVI cable, and now plugging it in allows the HD4000 to work (even on HDMI). I have my bios set to 64M (although it did work fine for 96M), and have chimera 1.11 obviously.
I just have one issue, which I'm hoping someone can help me solve - my screen has...
Did you make any changes to your BIOS and the plist?
It lets me boot into ML, otherwise it just hangs at startup at the Apple logo. I don't think its really "hanging", just the display that hangs. May be worth mentioning its running of HDMI.
Did you make any changes to the plist?
It lets me boot into ML, otherwise it just hangs on the boot screen (with the apple logo). I believe it doesn't fully "hang" - just the display output hangs. May be worth mentioning I'm on HDMI.
EDIT: One of Tony's posts suggests using DVI. Don't...
Thanks damuffin, I'd already done that, but only as a temporary workaround. Also had to set GraphicsEnabler=No
I thought ML would bring QE/CI? Or atleast the ability to play videos :banghead:
I'm on Z77-DS3H with i7-3770K. I was getting 1080 resolution in Lion, with changes to the boot plist file. However, installing Chimera 1.11 in ML just locks up at the spinning apple logo, similar to Einsteiniac perhaps its the HDMI port? I want my hackintosh to be able to play videos at least...
