Bump?

As the title states, I'm unable to get Ethernet working on my main build. I do not even see Ethernet in preferences. I've tried Multibeast, and manually adding the ALXEthernet kext to my EFI partition with clover.plist inject Kext set to YES. Any other ideas?

Lol, good to know. I edited the ig-platform-id to 0x19120000 and got to installer. Seems to be installing without issue. Thank you for all the help P1lgrim. I'll let you know how it turns out; and will most likely will bug you some more if it turns out poorly.

Yes I tried with and without nv_disable=1 just for the sake of single variable testing. Both hang at the same spot. Assuming Clover Configurator is as clever as people say it is, then the only setting coming through on that is Inject Intel - which seems correct to me. I recall something about...

Hey guys, just did a fresh install of 10.11.4 on a brand new system (Not my sidebar system) and after just barely getting through install (nv_disable=1 -v -x cpus=1 etc...) Now when I boot I can only get into system when both the USB drive is in and I boot in safe mode. Multibeast installs...

4770 is 3.69 w 3.9 boost. It should never show anything under 3.69 unless you are underclocking it. 10.9.2 brought some audio issues. hold tight.

Hey Stork, I know this kinda died, but what was your consensus with the z87MX and freezing issues. I think the FakeSMC plugins are worth looking into as a culprit.

It looks like this is gonna be the way to go. With the new RAM i got (CMZ16GX3M2A2133C10) It is recognized properly at 1600Mhz with XMP=disabled(default) and no freezes. Right now I'm running at 1866Mhz with some (very few) freezes but I'm playing with the voltages to see if I can fix things...

You gotta realize that switching two different types of the same RAM won't prove anything, the issue is that the motherboard doesn't always accept that model number, not that the RAM is bad.
