Yes, I did update so I could do a DSDT free install.
Here are some pics of the bios.
I do not know why they are upside down or so small, they are not like that on my computer...
Thanks,

I have fully functional OSX and Windows 7 HDs running right now. Currently, Win 7 is the primary boot device, but I don't want it to be. When I try to set OSX as the primary HD, my bios only gives me the UEFI version of the HD to select, but that doesn't boot. Does anyone now how to change the...
I have a flawless OSX HD running (except I have a network problem where I can't visit sites such as hotmail.com or connect my printer), and I also have Windows 7 running perfectly on another HD. My only problem is that I cannot put my OSX HD as the primary booting device. It gives me the option...
Has anyone tried the 10.8.2 supplemental update?
EDIT: Everything worked perfectly, I installed the update from the app store and it restarted without any problems. This is the first time I've been able to say that was easy with my Hackintosh :)
I updated to 10.8.2 successfully, but my speaker make a very faint popping sounds whenever they are plugged in. I can still play audio through the speakers and it is very clear, there is just the most annoying popping sound.
Also, I have gotten one kernel panic where the OS just had to...
timbck2 Thank you!!! I had tried this method before, but it didn't work for some reason. This time it worked flawlessly! :D:thumbup::clap::clap::lol:
Thanks again!

ttb1263, that would be the easiest thing, the thing is I already have Windows installed on another partition, I just need to figure out I can boot back to ML without over riding my Win 7 partition, and just be able to pick windows from chimera while having OSX as the primary partition. Does that...
It is a disk image from a copy of windows I had on the machine when I had SL installed. Something happened when I was trying to get ML up and running, so I had to make a disk image and erase my entire HD. The drive did boot before i reinstalled chimera. The only thing I have changed is I updated...
I followed this guide, except my only difference was that I restored windows from a disk image. After I reinstalled chimera, OSX ML boots perfectly, but if I go into Chimera, the windows OS will not boot.
Any ideas on what could be wrong?
Hi guys,
I just got ML up and running so I decided to create a new partition for Windows 7. I got Windows up with no problems, so then I booted back to ML using the flashdrive and reinstalled chimera. No whenever I try to boot into windows from chimera, all that happens is a "_" blinking over...
I had the exact same problem. I highly recommend following this guide! It turns out our motherboards don't need DSDT's.

Quick question on HDMI audio, when it says delete non dsdt hda enablers, I deleted alc899, but do I also delete applehda since it is replaced when you install alc899, or will this DSDT replace it?
Thanks,
Clayton :D
@Bimbo69

Ok, once I put my gigabyte 6850 and my 16 GBs of ram and change the internal graphics to 1024mb instead of 512mb in the bios, whenever I boot using the hdmi output of my gpu, the spinning logo will keep spinning and the OS will not boot. It will boot whenever I boot into GraphicsEnabler=No , but...
Thanks for the quick reply ttb1263!!!!
And by enable that in bios do you mean leave it on 512mb for internal graphics for the install, and then change it after everything is up and running and then install my gpu? And installing as a mac mini will not hinder any performance?
Thanks...
I am preparing to follow this guide since I have not been able to get the install working using TonyMac's guide. I have a few questions before I begin though.
1. Since I will be using a dedicated gigabyte radeon 6850 once I finish the install, will I need to change the internal graphics...
