Looks like i do need to update my SMBIOS, etc. so that i'm able to take advantage of some of the new features (like Sidecar). I've been using 14,2 for quite awhile so bumping up to 19,2 (and adjusting UUID and Serial accordingly) should hopefully work. I also need to resolve the playback issue...

Anyone know why my system doesn't seem to update? I'm stick back on 10.14.2. It acts like its installing, but then when it reboots back into Mojave, its still showing 10.14.2. Hmmm

Curious - do you know if the RX 570 / RX 580 cards support HDMI audio in Mojave?

Just as a brief update - I updated my system to 10.13.3 today and voila - it worked. No idea why, but I'm now getting 60hz on a working DisplayPort on my HD530 :)

Hi all, I recently sold my GTX 1060 and switched to the Intel HD 530 on 10.13.2; however, I've run into a problem. I was able to get the system working w/ full res (3440 x 1440) and acceleration on HDMI at 30hz, but I need to get Displayport working so I can output 60hz. Relevant Specs...

Not sure my monitor has the option, it's a Dell 3417, but will check. Also, if I am able, would turning it off lose 60hz at 3440x1440?

Just built a system today (Z170i) w/ HD530 via Displayport to my 34" Ultrawide and I noticed the display blacks out for 2-3 seconds at a time at random intervals (sometimes multiple times a minute, other times nothing for 3-4 minutes) Is this the same problem or something else?
