I'm trying to update to Sierra this way and "Install Mac OS X" is not an option in clover. SIP is disabled. What are some other things I can try to get that working?

I have the 1080p 960M version as well and I followed the guide, but I can't run the installer. It seems like the boot process goes fine with no errors, but after the text is done the screen just goes black. The read/write light on the USB drive goes on, so it looks like it successfully booted...

So Chameleon won't work for this? Because I did select the flash drive as my boot option in Chameleon. Edit: if I do this using the iBoot CD, rather than Chameleon, it still gets the black screen, but it doesn't reboot. Also, this issue is apparently not related to Fermi, as I swapped my GTS...

I used xmove to a flash drive, not a partition (as my boot ssd only has like 3 gb left), and have been trying to boot to it. Currently in verbose mode it loads the kexts, then the screen goes black, and after a while the computer restarts. In regular boot up, there's a white screen (no cursor)...
