Below are Clover instructions that do not work - there is no "Boot Args" option when hitting the space bar - just a list of pre-configured boot options and no place to enter enter boot flags manually.

Wow - again.
Working! I just installed those 4 kext files and that's all it took. I can postpone the 5Ghz and Handoff for now. WiFi and BT working just fine as is. Wifi is fast and had iTunes and website media via Safari playing through a Sony ZS-RS60BT audio 'boombox' system. I really...
I thought patching the binaries in AirPortBrcm4360 within IO80211Family.kext and IOBluetoothFamily was all that is needed for 5Ghz and Handoff. Where is the "config.plist" that needs to be edited? And which linked post are you referring to?
Hi RehabMan,
Thanks for the reply. I see this is in El Capitan Laptop Support. I'm still on Yosemite. I thought BrcmPatchRAM2 was specifically for El Capitan. So I should still use it for Yosemite? And I'll read all the FAQs, etc., tonight.
Thanks again.
With regards to using BCM94352 with Yosemite & Chimera/Chameleon, could someone confirm these are the proper steps that I've tried to cull from the guide?
First, these are the various products I downloaded:
config-bcm94352-103.plist (not used if using Fake PCIID?!?!)
ssdt_arpt-bcm4352...

Guide to install Yosemite on a Dell Optiplex 760 - Use at your own risk.
I finally got Yosemite to run on an OptiPlex 760. Lots of trial and error. Below is the stable version of steps that I came up with, that includes BIOS settings. It had kept stalling at various places during boot...
There are several boot switches/commands you can try at startup (i.e., at the Chimera boot screen) to get past the kernel panic, but I'm not the right person to recommend which ones to try.
Additionally, if you continue to have problems, this is what I had to do when installing the update -...
You should use the Combo update if jumping from 10.10.1 to 10.10.5. You can find it at http://www.apple.com/support/osx/software-updates/

I got 2 of them; one for an old Optiplex 760 tower Hack to provide sound to a sound bar, and a second one to have on standby when I update other Hack systems that might lose sound as a result of the update.... will have working headphones at the very least. Good value.

RehabMan.
I'm beginning this process and created a new MultiBeast configuration. When I try to load, I get:

RehabMan;
I applied "Rename GFX0 to IGPU" patch.
Then applied "(igpu) Brightness Fix (HD3000/HD4000)"
Restarted, and now have brightness control - slider now in Display Preferences and function key control.
So far, this has been way too easy (already know WiFi will most likely be...
Greetings RehabMan - you have the patience of a Saint ;^)
Anyway, I am plodding through everything in this Forum to eventually get battery status back. Voodoo used to work, but not anymore in Yosemite. So I'm going to school eventually on that other thread after I have all this Laptop...
