I can promise onboard iGPU is not enabled in my case- all internal graphics disabled on Gigabyte Z77-UP5-TH motherboard. This is very frustrating, as everything works perfectly in Sierra- and from looking around this problem seems to affect everyone with Kepler based Nvidia cards. There has...
I just noticed that if I check “inject Nvidia” in Clover I don’t seem to have any artifacting issues anymore- but I lose my dual display, only have one screen working even though both are plugged in. Can someone else verify this works for them? If so I may need to figure a way to inject...
I know I’m using wrong SMBIOS- Mac Pro 6,1 worked best under Sierra because of audio popping issues with iMac SMBIOS... how would I change graphics from PEGP to GFX0? And what would I do do implement power management? Thanks!
Hey all-
I have updated to High Sierra, and everything is working great - EXCEPT, a bunch of artifacting and random screen "noise" on my desktop and windows. I have a Gigabyte UP5 TH Z77 and a Nvidia 660ti- any advice is welcome! I have already tried the NVRAM efi fix and the Nvidia driver...
I have the same issue... if I use the "darkwake=0" flag then the system won't deep sleep, but it will act almost normal... unless I choose the sleep option from the desktop drop down menu. With ML I was able to remove the dark wake flag, and sleep worked 100%... does anyone have this working...
Hey all,
I am running a GTX660ti, and have been (until now) running without the "darkwake=0" flag to allow for full sleep/wake. It appears that Mavericks has broken this, without this flag you wake up to a screen full of gibberish... anyone else have this experience or an answer? With the...
When I install these drivers my system will reboot and run fine, with one exception - my NTFS drives are no longer mounted! I have tried to reinstall Tuxera, and Disk Utility sees the NTFS drives but is unable to mount them for some reason. I don't understand how this can be related to this...

I am using the UP5-TH, so no DSDT. My computer wakes from sleep, I can hear sounds, activity, etc. but my displays (2) stay black. Is there a DSDT to help with this?

What card are you using? I am having problems with my EVGA 660 ti, my computer wakes from sleep but the displays stay dark.... I am hopeful that this may be the fix I am looking for?
This is a post from another thread, anyone here have any thoughts? If this is the culprit perhaps we could modify the kext to include the correct device ID? Just a thought.
That's a good idea, I wonder if that's it? If it is couldn't we modify that kext to include our device ID? I'm not that good at things like that, but hopefully someone browsing this forum might have an idea...
No luck here, I still can't wake my displays from sleep. Everything else wakes up, displays stay black no matter what I try. Is it possible this is BIOS related? I may have something wrong, but I don't think so... I copied Alfa's guide as far as BIOS settings, and I have updated to the F9 bios.
I tried using iMac12,2 but no luck, still won't wake from sleep... plus the sound is terrible (pops and crackling.) I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, unless I have one of my BIOS settings incorrect. My hope is that a DSDT can fix this?
