Does anyone know how to fix sleeping/waking up with the xps 8500?
Im currently using an ATI6770 video card
and the CPU is an i3 3210 (hd2500, not hd 4000)
This is with 10.8.5
using my hack, multi beast, and kext utility to enable the 6770.
still havnt gotten hd2500 working correctly...
cross fire isnt supported, but you can have two functioning video cards.
the new mac pros have dual video cards, so maybe maverick might have some kind of support (speculation)
ended up reinstalling chimera from scratch and deleted my carbon copy (sort of disappointed about this)

install didnt increase my lux mark score for a 7970, but it did fix unigine benchmark. it can now run the "extreme" preset that was previously broken due to anti-aliasing/aa issue.
if anyone was wondering i was able to flash it and it bumbed my luxmark score slightly from 18xx to 19xx
strangely its a lot more stable in mountain lion then win7, as i've booted in win7 w/ a blue screen (though in amd overdrive it was overclocked heavily)
Article: In Depth: Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7970 OC
i dont believe theres anything special about the gigabyte card. had no issues getting my visiontek to work.
I'm considering flashing my Visiontek 7970 bios to the GHz version. Just curious if anyone else has been able to get this to successfully boot into Mountain Lion with the overclock before i consider possibly screwing up my video card.
thanks giacomoleopardo! that fixed it and my geekbench scores are now look a little better ~14k
though i'm seeing 17k when i run geekbench on my win7 partition =\
