    Multibeast fails after Mavericks install

    I had the same issues with MultiBeast failing after upgrading to 10.9 as well. Finally said **** it and did a clean install and it then worked like a charm. Now migrating data from my backup (thank god for that).

    Do you have the controller the boot drive is on set to AHCI in the bios? Edit: To clarify if its set to IDE it wont work IIRC.

    I previously had a 6870 in mine and its was detected as the same as the OP. Worked fine in games and such with the proper boot config.

    Recent Nvidia Drivers?

    The only thing nVidia releases for OSX are CUDA drivers which are different from the graphics drivers which are solely supplied by Apple. If you want newer drivers you will need to update to a newer version of OSX.
