Hi there,
I read a few hours complaints about the AR9380 inside of the WDN4800. The main problem is, that nobody ever got the 5 Ghz band working (if I'am missing someone pls post a link). I tried for myself patching my DSDT with the patch from toleda...
I think it only can work if you perform a kextcache rebuild after the installation of the TRIM Patch. And other testers may performed this rebuild while installing other kexts etc. But when you perform the TRIM Patch isolated it can't work. At least a line in the tooltip should suggest "This...
Yes!!!! That's what I'am talking about! Thank you for the affirmation. And I'am pretty sure it happens with every SSD out there on the market. MacMan please look at the Link bones posted. Even if you're booting with kext-dev mode it didn't worked.
It's maybe because the TRIM Patch don't rebuild...
That's the problem there is nothing else to look at...
I installed 10.10 to the 2012er Ivy Bridge 13" MacBook Pro with a Crucial MX100. Then I launched Multibeast and installed the TRIM Patch. And after the restart the boot stucks with a stop sign. Only way back was installing 10.10 again...
The TRIM-Patch from Multibeast 7.01 doesn't work! It broke my whole installation of 10.10 several times using a Crucial MX100 (even replace the patched kext with the vanilla one didn't worked!). So please don't use it just yet and wait till it's fixed! Applied the patch on a "real mac" with...

You start your computer with the iGPU turned on, install the newest 10.10 beta. Get into the system and install the webdrivers. Than you can turn on PCIe and may use your GTX 980.
The people from ****** think you only need to install OS X 10.10 and the NVidia webdriver with the internal GPU. Since the webdriver is installed "all" Maxwell-cards should work.

Sry choosed the wrong post to quote, I've got the Z87X-UD3H, but the RAM could be a problem too despite the List. Just try 2x 4GB. You could try to adapt your DRAM voltage from 1,5V to 1,6V this might fix your issues and disable any Intel Virtualization tech.
I've got the same Mobo and experienced the same freezes!!!
It's because this Mobo is extremely sensitive to incompatible RAM-modules. Nearly any 8GB unsupported module won't run! (You cen get the compatible List on gigabyte's site)
I recommend 2 modules or 4 of: "Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB...
I installed Mavericks to a USB drive with unibeast, but with the GFX plugged in it won't boot up so I plugged it out and installed 10.9 with the IGPU. I get into the OS with the IGPU and everything seems fine, but as soon I try to boot up my system with the GFX it crashes at booting at several...
