Clover with the old guard: GA-X58A-UD3R Rev 2.0

To be honest this is my first go at Clover, and I'm using DSDT from my other working install. I'm doing this mainly for iMessage functionality... but it seems I can't get it to cleanly install, it's extremely slow, and like I said above - never completes after several hours, stuck on verifying...

Clover with the old guard: GA-X58A-UD3R Rev 2.0

So far no luck. It made it all the way to verifying install but just sat there for hours. Back to the drawing board. I also added the cpus=1 and npci=0x2000 but it has no effect on performance. Keep trying... I'm going to add additional kexts to the 10.10 folder on the USB as well as force...

Hi DevillisM, I'm so fed up with the slow load of bluetooth at boot. I have to wait 20-30 seconds (sometimes more) while the everything else is up. Just wondering if you ever found that link, or know the fix off the top of your head? :) I've had the bluetooth slow to load issue for...

    10.8.2 MIDI Issues?

Within your bios settings at boot there will be an option to disable USB3. It's within the advanced settings. Apologize on iPhone, so I can't tell you exact location, but go through the menus. If you have trouble I can grab the full path once I'm home. Worked like a charm. I have noticed my...

    10.8.2 MIDI Issues?

I have not found a solution, here is what I have tested (outside of what was previously posted): I did a clean install on 10.8 and used the combo update to 10.8.2, with UniBeast. I then used MutliBeast and loaded my usual stuff, skipping audio. I then modified my DSDT for device_id = 1, and...

Hello Crunk, ever find a fix for the bluetooth? I'm having the same issue. Mntn Lion boots relatively quick, but the last thing to load is bluetooth, so my mouse, trackpad, keyboard all take a while before they can be used... Maybe 30-45secs after OS load. Anyone know of a way to set a...

oddly enough I just did the exact same thing last night, lol. I've been searching for ways to force a chimera/chameleon load via usb and then manually selecting the Lion partition.
