Got installation to complete and can use it but only while using a clover boot key. The CAPS LOCK and lowercase p still don't work. Could this be due to the EFI BOOTROM issue? I know exactly where I went wrong: I used the Clover boot key and restored the boot key image to the HDD, which...
So I just did this to a Macbook Air (Early 2014) and I am pretty sure it is hosed. I can get to clover now with no SSD installed. Is anyone in the same boat having battery / charging and keyboard issues as well? When I boot to an OEM Mojave Installer, the Caps Lock and lowercase p willl not...
So, if anyone who has this build was curious, Mavericks works great! just follow the upgrade instructions and reload multibeast ethternet, ALC898 etc.
I am still having the popping issue on the green audio jack. When I go to the Audio MIDI Setup app, everytime it clicks and cuts out, the...
It "Works" somewhat. It blips and is very choppy. Terrible quality. The black jack is perfect. It is very annoying to have to switch back and forth when I want audio on windows. I am using the same Audio from Multibeast you have listed in your instructions. What additional fixes did you do to...
Anyone able to get audio working correctly from the Green Analog Audio jack? I would like to be able to have audio in my dual-boot environment without having to get down and swap the port from black to green. Please help!
Gabe & PJ:
I recently update my build to 10.8.3. I too had to rerun Multibeast for ALC to get audio. However, when I ran the TRIM 10.8.1+ it made me unable to boot. I got a kernel panic. Thank goodness I had a timemachine backup. Anyone else get this? TRIM seems to not be working for me after...
I guess thats what it is. I have multiple USB 2.0 devices and thats all I have tried. Let me give the 3.0 thumb drive I have a shot. Was just hoping to use my externals with the front USB plugs. Oh well.
GABE you are the man! Mimicked your BIOS settings EXACTLY and it now sleeps! I think it was the turbo mode setting that was making the overclock fail and not waking. Thanks again so much for all of your efforts in helping me with my build. I can now say that I am almost 100% operational except...
So, I got the issue settled temporarily. Turned off sleep and used Kext Wizard to rebuild and repair permissions. I also turned off auto-login and now it seems to be ok. Still want to get SLEEP and WAKE working, so will be copying the drive to a spare SSD to begin experimenting with other methods.
I have recently started having an issue after a failed sleep. When I boot up, the wallpaper loads and nothing else. Just the wallpaper. If I press power to put it to sleep, then wake it up again ALL IS GOOD! What could this possibly be!? Really annoying to have to put it to sleep and wake it...
Yeah, my def is Mac Pro 3,1. I think it is a BIOS setting. I'm going to inspect further. Just curious, how do you have your Power Settings in System Prefs?
Gabe,
I'm curious on your sleep/wake. I am overclocked to 4.5Ghz and when it sleeps, it wont re-wake. Power light sits on. Then when I force shutdown and power-up, it lists overclock failed. Thoughts?
I am unable to install packages that require authorization. Here is the log file I receive

Problem solved by removing GTX 660 and booting with no flags. Follow GabeDamiens guide. then download and install GTX 660 drivers from nvidia for ML. Install card and reboot. Voila!
