hmm i'm having issues at the moment with usb 3 drives, which get randomly ejected, and mostly i can't get them to mount again properly - forces me to restart the machine - pretty awkward to work like that... I'm on 10.10.2 - could you eleborate on how you've overcome the genericusbxhci problems...

i got it working as well, but reverted back to my old install as imessage didn't seem to work, and switching to clover wasn't as easy as i thought... will maybe give it another try soon

RE kext-dev-mode yesterday i went with a fresh clover & yosemite install on a spare ssd i had lying around. pretty much got it working except sound, so wondering if checking the kext-dev-mode=1 checkbox will sollve the issue of not beeing able to install kexts, i suppose it does...? BTW...

i thought filenvram isn't needed in clover? at least the guys over at "how to fix imessage" reported that yosemite doesn't work with the nvram route anymore and that they had success using clover for imessage and facetime...

Does imessage work in yosmite when using the clover bootloader? I just did a clean install of yosemite, going the traditional chimera/multibeast way, but seems like the nvram method from back in the days doesn't apply to yosemite anymore. Are you guys sucessfully using imessage with clover...
