This is normal because Vertexx3 uses a Sandforce controller which uses compression to achieve higher speeds. The newest version of Blackmagic Disk Speed Test is testing with incompressible data, so your SSD can't achieve full performance because it is not able to compress. I wouldn't worry about...
Try setting your resolution in org.Chameleon.Boot.plist:
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>2560x1440x32</string>
Change the resolution to your needs.
If that doesn't help, try platform-id 01620005.
Hey Chris, currently there is no known way to enable VGA port on HD4000. To temporarily use your system until your adapter arrives, try booting with GraphicsEnabler=no in Chimera bootscreen.
Hey toleda, that's interesting. Are the machine names like macbookair5,2 actually present in the connector tables or are you assuming them? Also I can assume that LVDS means direct display connection to the chip (like notebook display)?
I can say that I'm getting scrambled up display when...
This is because in Lion most of us where using BridgeHelper which injected a missing device id in AppleAHCIPort.kext. I wrote a legacy kext which does the same, benefit is that you don't have to repatch AppleAHCIPort.kext after a system update. Just install this with KextBeast, KextUtility or...
Hey, I had exactly the same issues on MSI Z77A-G43. I'm also using HD4000 and I had to do several things to fix wake from sleep:
1. Switched to platform-id 01620005 for HD4000, with all others my screen didn't turn on
2. Added some lines to my USB devices in DSDT:
For EHC1 and EHC2...
But you could get the board without BT and Wifi and use a compatible bluetooth dongle and wifi card. Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H is still a very good choice.
Hey, viele Grüße aus Deutschland. :)
I would also recommend going with a 7-series chipset board and Ivy Bridge. They seem to be working better with Mountain Lion.
I had the same issue on my MSI Z77A-G43 with wake. It was a problem with TSC sync, but I'm not sure if it's the same for you. Are you using any USB devices to wake up from sleep (like clicking mouse, keyboard)? If so, try if it wakes up properly when you push the power button to wake from sleep...
Try this one, it is from the DSDT database with the code above added. No guarantee that it works, just a try. Make sure to use BIOS version F12 for this.
Hey MiMe, you have also posted to my HD4000 thread, should have mentioned the information there. AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB seems to be blocking AppleIntelFramebufferCapri. Since you are using Z68 chipset, try this in your DSDT:
Device (MEI)
{
Name (_ADR, 0x00160000)
Method...
I had the same problem on MSI Z77A-G43 and it was USB related. This DSDT edit fixed it for me:
Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized)
{
Store (Package (0x09)
{
"AAPL,current-available",
0x0834,
"AAPL,current-extra",
0x0898...
Yes, but without hardware acceleration. Be sure to also set your Graphic Mode with your resolution when setting GraphicsEnabler=no like this:
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1680x1050x32</string>
Hey MacMan,
as for some people GraphicsEnabler=yes seems not to be working for HD4000 we are currently experimenting with the correct settings for ig-platform-id here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-lion-desktop-support/61216-10-8-how-enable-hd4000.html
I have to use platform-id of...
