I've managed to disable the config lock with RU.efi (and left AppleXcpmCfgLock and AppleCpuPmCfgLock turned off)
but the sleep problem remains. Is sleep just broken on Kaby Lake CPUs when the IGPU is used?
Here's the pmset configuration. Vt-d has been disabled in the BIOS.

Hey everyone. I have a m710q Lenovo (Tiny form factor, ) that I'm trying to get Opencore 0.7.7 and Monterey 12.2 onto. This is is my first time running Opencore, but I have quite a bit of experience with Clover on 3rd and 4th gen Intel/Gigabyte combos. I've managed to get the computer to...
I seem to have fumbled my way into making this work (at least on Mojave). My HD8570 reports as an "AMD Radeon HD 7970", Metal is enabled and 1Gb of VRAM is detected. Only catch is that it needs to boot into Windows if the power has been turned off to work, subsequent reboots work fine. Anyone...
I'm guessing that the combination of FakeID and InjectATI is doing all the spoofing that we need but then the driver can't work with the hardware for some reason. Is it possible Apple removed support for these cards in the newer Kexts and I need to run an older one?
Edit: my reading seems to...
This boots to black screen as well. I've tried running on Mojave as well which hasn't made any difference. I also tried the following based on a ****** thread I found, but it boots to a black screen as well.
Graphics:

-->FB Name: Eulemur
-->video ports=3

I tried these settings and I get a Black screen (It's not rebooting, just seems black). I've tried inserting the ProductID and Vendor ID on the graphics section as well but it doesn't work either.

I have the Atheros BCM94352, and here's what I needed to get it running. I don't have any patching or config in my config.plist under Catalina. I don't see why you'd need this if your card is running real Apple hardware.

I used MacMini(6,2). Works fine other than the flakey bluetooth support from my dongle. That warning you are seeing about the unsupported configuration is normal. I just said yes to all the questions, then after reboot go into the Settings and select Internal Speakers for the Sound Output.
Clover Configurator is Evil
After ripping my hair out for most of the day trying to get a clean install up and running, I traced my issues to step "9. Your config.plist should auto-mount". For some reason this step kept overwriting my config.plist rendering my system unbootable. Make sure to...
The ability to use an Apple keyboard to enter the BIOS is a hardware limitation from what I know. The "Delete" button on the Apple keyboard is actually "Backspace" to the BIOS. There is no physical key that you can hit to activate the BIOS configuration screens.
I've been struggling with...
I have the same issue on my GA-h77n-wifi board. It did work at one point but I haven't had any luck with it in the last 9-12 months. I seem to remember loosing it when I switched to using the iMac SMBios instead of the default MacPro. What SMBios are you running?
I haven't had any audio issues of this nature since I stopped using MacPro3,1 for my SMBios. If you are still using the default you might want to try something newer to match your CPU/MB. Have you also tried checking your /S/L/Extensions folder to make sure there are no old kexts in there...
Try deleting your Extra folder before running MB6.3 and changing you SMBios. I switched to iMac13 from the default and it seems to be working for me (GA-H77N-WIFI/ALC892).
Article: MultiBeast 6.3 Update
I went ahead and installed MB6.3 and I don't seem to have the no audio after sleep issue anymore on my GA-h77n-wifi board anymore. I did delete the /Extra folder before installing and switched to the imac13.1 smbios. In any case, MB6.3 seems to have fixed all...
