I did indeed write that. At the time of this posting, I am able to do the following after completing my upgrade method a few days ago.
Working:
Two finger vertical scrolling
Two Finger horizontal scrolling
Two finger "swiping" through my apps pages in Launch Pad.

I wondered this same thing, so i installed two free apps from App Store, and also put some photos and random text files in my Downloads and Documents folders... upon completion of the "overlay install" everything was still there. INCLUDING my special key mappings and bookmarks in Safari

My oldie but goodie Inspiron 530 runs 10.7.4 beautifully. Using the UniBoot method with my App Store 10.8 and a known working USB drive (it installed Lion nicely on several machines).

Interesting... It DOES indeed properly switch the wifi on and off, however it appears as if it increases screen brightness too (must be a funky key mapping to that button)
Found this on ebay a bit back, and since wireless was the only thing not working for me I got this card and it worked immediately upon installation and rebooting. Bluetooth and WiFi work at great levels and levels of signal. I figured the price was great at 12.99 for trouble free wireless...
