    Windows 10 is Now Available

Though it took a while (about 75 minutes), the upgrade was painless and did not damage Chimera. After a few tweaks (ClassicShell, fixing my default apps, etc), it's quite usable for Windows.

How to Make Any Build Into a Audio Editing Build

Yes, I have the same issue. If I have the box connected when I boot, the system will hang as it switches to GUI until I disconnect the firewire cable. Also, I have to connect to port #2 on my box. This is not an issue when I connect to a Windows machine.

How to Make Any Build Into a Audio Editing Build

I haven't had a chance to do any high-pressure recording, but my Presonus FP10, although no longer supported in OS 10.8 and above, seems to be working well in Yosimite on my X99 system using the StarTech PCI-X firewire card...

How to Make Any Build Into a Audio Editing Build

Awesome. My next build is going to be specifically for a portable recording/performance rig. I'm waiting to see if the X99 chipset will be a viable option before I build. I'm planning on using the PreSonus Firestudio Project (http://www.presonus.com/products/FireStudio-Project) as my...
