Alright I have a new issue right now. I boot only using "verbose". It successfully boots into OSX. When I change the driver in the dropdown from "OS X Default Graphics Driver" to "NVIDIA Web Driver" it does not get saved after the reboot. I've already tried the suggestion here...

[SOLVED] NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 + Sierra

I just tried Multibeast 9 for Sierra. Still exactly the same issues. I hope someone has a working Sierra setup with the GTX 260 and/or GTX285

Kernel panic when bootong into installer

Make sure you don't inject the Nvidia drivers in the bootloader (i had this issue as well). When you use nv_disable=1 but still inject the nvidia drivers, it gives you this error (in my case at least)

[SOLVED] NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 + Sierra

I dont think i have an DSDT (i've read about this, but don't fully understand it). Again the "InjectNVidia" checkbox is checked. Do i need a DSDT? I would probably need this: http://www.osx86.net/files/file/4230-asus-p6t-se-dsdt/ right? If i need this, I will try to find out how to do it...

[SOLVED] NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 + Sierra

Thanks. Also I just swapped the GTX 260 with a GTX 285 (pulled it from another computer). It gives me the same result. Do I need to install the WebDrivers for the graphics to work? On El Capitan this was not needed (it worked out of the box)

[SOLVED] NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 + Sierra

I just booted without nv_disable=1. It does not give a kernel panic (as far as i can see). After it starts the GUI the PC just reboots. The good news: No kernel panic The bad news: No GUI either. May I also ask what you changed in the config?
