    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@CaseySJ On installing Sonoma I installed kext to use Intel wi-fi as instructed and it worked. In the last two days wi-fi cannot be enabled. I re-downloaded and re-installed the kext and checked the config.plist settings. Re-booted and still no wi-fi. I am using ethernet connection but this is...

I enabled Intel WIFI and left Fenvi on for B/T. Updated to Sonoma no probs. WiFi and B/T work! The only thing that no longer works is using Continuity Camera/iPhone for Zoom camera. I don't understand...

I would like to go the Intel Wi-Fi route if possible. Can the Fenvi provide BluTooth or is that a stupid question?

@CaseySJ Dare we hope that Casey will do an instruction for dummies so that we can keep Wi-Fi and blue tooth for Sonoma on our Z390 Designare?

Did those things. Still boot loops if I connect to i211. WiFi and i219 work. I must have done something more deeply wrong. I guess I will have to sit this one out. Thanks for your help.

WiFi and the i219 Ethernet work. i211 does not - causes re-boots.

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@CaseySJ Going down a rabbit hole here. I looked at ACPI and saw that I hadn't done the DMAR things for APPLEVTD which I did. Checked that quirk was still in config.plist. Re-booted and now Ethernet 2 i211 works but Ethernet i219 doesn't and no wireless. Perhaps you have a fresh and up to date...

I am running 13.3 release The port that is working is the i219 (closest to the sound ports) "Ethernet" The port causing the trouble is the i211 (next to the antenna connector) "Ethernet 2"

Sorry ...spoke too soon. (32 G memory/Vtd on) - wireless works ethernet 2 does not. If I try to use ethernet 2 it boots and reaches the log - in screen then re- boots and so on. Shut down and plug into the other eth port and all is well.
