    tonymacx86's ASUS Test Build: Z97-A - i3-4340 - HD4600 - Thunderbolt EX II

Tony, does this mean the Asus Z97m-plus should work fine? the only thing I can see different is Realtek ALC887 audio instead of the 892, for which there are drivers in Multibeast. Regards, Josh King

Have you tried -v to try and work out where your system hangs? Have you tried PCIRootUID=0 or PCIRootUID=1 if you're using your 780 for graphics? Have you tried removing your 780 and using HD4600 to install (There is a guide here on TonyMac for that) and then reinstall your 780 later...

    Asrock z87m pro4

The pro4 and extreme4 are different boards. Also, what I meant by my op was I would love to get the gigabyte z87mx, but the x model is not available in Au, which is a significant upgrade over the standard gigabyte z87m. I am aware many AsRock boards are available in Australia, hence my thread...

Gigabyte Z87X UD5 TH Thunderbolt not working

This might seem totally stupid and obvious.. but have you got a hold of the Thunderbolt kexts and put them in S/L/E or installed them with Kext Helper? I'm not sure if MultiBeast might've automatically installed them after detecting your motherboard, or if OS X just comes with them now.. but...
