    GA-P55A-UD4P - Lion?

That is correct, with the DSDT in place, I can not boot Lion. However, if I remove the DSDT, I can boot into Lion. This is an upgrade from Snow Leopard and I have tested the PCIRoot string to no availability. Thanks Brad

    Mount Point changes on reboot

I have 2 Hard Drives in my Hackintosh; 1 for Windows, 1 for Mac OS X. Using PC-EFT 10.6 and it sees both hard drives and will boot to whichever I want - as expected. However, when I boot into Mac OS X the hard drives don't always have the same mount point. For example, Hard Drive 1 mounts to...

    GA-P55A-UD4P - Sleep issues

OK, so I solved my problem. I'm not exactly sure what I did, but I think it wasn't recognizing my DSDT and was causing all kinds of issues. I followed Tony's guide from the start again and it is now working. Thanks b

Looking for guides on getting sleep to work.

For what it's worth - I have never seen a Mac lose data after being put to sleep. I would have to say there would most likely be another factor that caused the data to be lost.

    Forum Suggestion

Hello, I would like to throw in my $0.02 about managing forums. I have found that is best to start with just a few forums (2-5) and then expand as the need arrises. I think when people come to a site like this and see 10-20 different forums, they get a little intimidated and don't know which...

    GA-P55A-UD4P - Sleep issues

Hello, Does anyone have the GA-P55A-UD4P? If so, have you been able to get sleep working? I am using the DSDT from Tony's Database, and following the steps at the end. When I remove NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and reboot, I get a kernel panic on AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement. Any thoughts? or...
