I have the BCM94352Z. In any case I found that Clover installer had made a complete backup of the EFI folder before the upgrade so once I was able to boot it was easy to do a complete restore.
I had a well working NUC 5i5MYHE with the m.2 BT+WiFi card. Then I made the mistake to just upgraded Clover without thinking and of course I could not boot. Now I recovered slightly by copying the EFI folder from post #114 using UEFI shell.
My only remaining problem now is that Bluetooth does...
I used to have working HDMI Audio with ML and UEFI following the guides provided here, now I have just installed Mavericks and "downgraded" from UEFI to BIOS and am having some rather basic problem, I cannot get beyond the 2nd step to get a clean compile.

Now I managed to get to the F12 BIOS by using a different USB stick. Very strange since the first USB stick worked for F10 and F11 but not F12. Anyway, sleep seems to work like a charm now. I totally second your opinion that BIOS is much more stable than UEFI.

I had the exact same issue and I can confirm that the Lnx2Mac driver (0.90) solved the problem. Just make sure to remove AppleRTL8169Ethernet.kext under IONetworkingFamily.kext and then install the Lnx2Mac driver.
