You should not be using a Desktop SMBIOS with a Laptop.
Ensure that your serial ports are disabled in the BIOS settings.

Looks like you have several disks and probably have multiple boot loaders installed.
The likelihood is that you are not booting from the disk that you think you are.

Actually, strange as it may seem, DVI to DVI will not support audio.
But
DVI to HDMI does support audio. Because in most cases DVI is fed from the HDMI encoder of the graphics card.
