Hi Guys,
I am trying to figure out how to enable GPU power management without breaking my install.
Currently I am getting the "AGPM Unknown Platform" Message during boot and I am on the latest NVIDIA web drivers and 10.10.1.
While I cannot check the temp, as apparently HWSensors doesn't...
Thanks toleda. My configuration already adheres to this guide.
- latest multibeast for patched AppleHDA
- built-in digital output
- sound is routed as passthrough signal to receiver
- players used for testing are configured as per your guide (xbmc 13+ mplayerx 1.0.22+ vlc - all with...
Hi Guys,
did anyone ever figure out how to get full 5.1 optical passthrough (SPDIF) for DTS and DD signals for the z68x-ud3h-b3 on mavericks? I get digital audio out, I use the layout id 1 (as far as I know that doesn't matter for SPDIF) and use the standard DSDT patching recommended by...
Not properly, but it ran enough for a quick test. Decided to use Windows 8 for the battery life after all, which was abysmal despite working power management. Also random kernel panics despite using a very basic setup. If you're thinking of trying the E330, be aware that the wifi card will have...
I feel like a total noob, it was a BIOS-option for secure memory. By default, it is enabled. And it should be.
Somehow I remembered incorrectly that it should be disabled for hackintosh purposes at all times, which causes the instant reboot after loading the kexts. :D
Hey RebabMan,
thx for the hint, indeed it is case sensitive.
I tried a couple different boot flags in all kinds of combinations today, unfortunately to no avail. I also disabled all internal peripheral hardware via the BIOS to see if that might change something, also to no avail.
I cannot...
Hi Guys,
has anyone had any success with the Lenovo E330 (Version NZSALGE)?
As far as I've seen, it should be compatible, as there are quite a few kext packs and DSDT files for it on the web.
I've enabled AHCI, disabled USB 3.0 and tried to boot my install media with various bootloaders...
Same here. GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3, USB 3.0 Ports (Powered USB 2.0 Ports too, the blue ones) are not working, Bios F12 with latest DSDT from the Database and LaCie Kext (edited by Modbin) via MultiBeast 5.1.3.
Have you ever figured this out? I can't get the darn thing to work at all, with or without a patched kext. It just does not show up in the system profiler.
