so i am doing a hackintosh for a friend and we are using the 680 http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX38608 now when i install os x do i have to do anything to make it work or is it just plug n play?
it comes up as 6xxx, once i made my unibeast flash drive i removed the ati6000 kext i did the install i dragged the kext to the desktop, ran kextbeast and it still didnt work. please help i have been trying to get it working for ever!
i made a copy of the kext then deleted it in the extensions folder, installed the os, then i went into terminal and typed "open /" (it opens the root of my drive) then system/library/extensions then paste the kext into there and it still comes up as 6xxx i also ran it through kext beast still...

1: my background resets every time i turn the computer on
2: i have the latest bridge helper and i enabled it in multi beast but i still don't have usb 3 speeds
3: when i install the over clocking ssdt from multi beast and i over clock to 4.2 ghz my geek bench score goes to 6000
4: my bottom...
when i install the multi beast ssdt and go into bios and put the multiplier at 42 (4.2ghz)
my geek bench score comes to around 6000. how do i fix this?

this is just a quick question if you have saved settings in multi beast but you want to add something in it, do i have to select everything else again, or just add the new thing and not worry bout everything else?
