UPDATE: Upgraded to 10.8.3 a few hours ago, and everything is working perfectly! So, I'll be looking for a newer graphics card. Maybe 650 ti if I can find one. Thanks for all the help Jeremy

Nope. Barracuda. I went with the 500gb Western Digital Caviar Green. Slower than the Seagate, but worked alot easier. For some strange reason though, freezes when I use HDMI on apple logo screen upon bootup. Thanks! J

Yes I think your right. Seagate 1tb 7200rpm 3gb transfer. I'll be pretty depressed if I can't use the brand new drive. Like I said, I'd rather not buy new hardware, but if a SSD would be an easy fix, I'll just go for it. As long as I can use the TB for extra storage! Thanks guys!! J
