Sorry, that I can't tell you. But now there is a 10.8.2 driver update available from nVidia:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-304.00.05f02-driver.html
I have NOT installed any additional drivers, my card (PNY GTX 460) is working OOB in 10.8.2 with GraphicsEnabler=Yes.
I just wanted to...
Could you please tell me, why I should install this? I have a PNY GTX 460 and no problems so far. Are there still freezes?
I thought in 10.8.x the "ATY_Init.kext" isn't needed anymore.
What about the most recent (10.8.1) nvidia drivers for Mac?
I use GraphicsEnabler=1.
Thanks
Indeed, exactly same problem here with iPad1.
Also not Working:
- Apple Keyboard (USB)
- Bluetooth Dongle
- M-Audio Fast Track Audio Interface
- USB Soundcard (a cheap 6€ thing)
Working:
- All storage devices I tried
- Digital Camera (Copying files)
- USB Mouse

Many (including me) had problems with the Etron EJ168 USB 3.0 chipset and the patched LaCie kext from Multibeast as it has been developed for the NEC 720200.
Problem: An external HDD is perfectly recognized but suddenly kicked after few minutes...
I'd also be interested in information concerning USB 3.0, wich kext did you use, is it really stable - for me it isn't with the Multibeast drivers.
What about Speedstep, how did you get it working?
Thanks
Re: 10.7 GTX 280 kexts? or bootloader
There shouldn't be any problems. Have you tried the newest chimera with these graphics card related org.chameleon.Boot.plist edits:
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1200x32</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>PCIRootUID</key>...
No problems here (Sparkle GTX 260+).

Re: ALC889 AppleHDA.kext (10.7.1 Lion)
Thank you, does this work on other Gigabyte boards with the same audio chip as well?
How did you find out, what you had to add?
@yonkoc:
Could you please confirm your Geekbench Score of 9xxx.
No matter what model identifier I try, I'm stuck at 8900.
I'm using the most recent Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with the vanilla 10.8.0 kernel.
I'd like to get Speedstep working, because in idle it drains way too much power - fixed at...
Re: i5-2500K fully working?
I guess it's working fine for me too.
The thing I'm interested in is, if Speedstep is working for anyone and if others have the same benchmark scores (without OC).
I haven't found another topic discussing exclusively this CPU.
Perhaps people could post their system definition an Geekbench/Cinebench scores to get a feeling about one's system.
As far as I read, Speedstep isn't working yet for Gigabyte Z68 boards - any comments?
I tried several options...
Re: Flatfoot's PowerMac G5-i7
Here's how I placed my fanless (yes!) PSU.
It's a working progress but you get the idea, as you wanted to have the option to mount the G5 cover plate.
As I want to place some weight (several HDDs) on top of the G5's lower plate, I had to stabilize it from below.
Here's an updated, verified diagram.
Hope this one makes my wiring more plausible.
Note: Apple uses its own trigger mechanism in the audio connector. So the only solution I found, is to bypass the necessary contacts (orange cables) to make the motherboard believe a headphone jack is plugged all...
