Asus X79 Rampage IV Extreme | Core i7-3930K (Successful)

I noticed that all my drives show up in Disk Utility>Get Info as External. Is there a fix for that? Is it just showing as External because the SATA ports are hot swappable? Thanks.

    HD becoming read only

I've tried to verify and repair the disk. One time that worked, but not this last time.

    HD becoming read only

It's formatted for Mac OS X (Journaled). It has worked fine for years as such. Since my switch to ML I have started having this issue. Prior to that it was absolutely fine.

    HD becoming read only

Since my install of ML I've had this issue where one of my SATA HDs becomes read only. If I reboot it goes back to read/write. Is there any way to fix this? Rebooting really isn't a good solution. Thanks.

    HDDs ejecting randomly

My system is in my profile on the left. I recently installed ML and got everything up and running fine...almost. I keep having an issue where random SATA HDDs will eject for no reason. I'll get the error message saying I need to unmount them. They only come back if I restart the system...

Asus X79 Rampage IV Extreme | Core i7-3930K (Successful)

Just an update for anyone who might have the same problems that I did. I used MA and brought over everything but the settings and then after everything was migrated I ran Multibeast and Kextbeast again. After that it booted up in a few seconds and so far everything seems to be running smooth.

Asus X79 Rampage IV Extreme | Core i7-3930K (Successful)

I was finally able to get ML installed correctly...sort of. After installation I rebooted and everything was fine, though it was slower to boot up than my previous Lion version. After I used Migration Assistant to bring over all my settings and everything I noticed that one of my HDs isn't...

I'm using the Radeon HD 6870. Ah ha. Just realized that's no longer the card that you have listed in the build. I guess that's where my mistake lies. D'oh!

Yes, I used the DSDT for Nvidia that was included in your instructions. I will boot into verbose mode and report back. This might sound dumb, but when I installed off the USB stick which had the Ati6000Controller kext removed would it still create an ati6000Controller kext anyways on my...
