Can I create a bootable USB from a mac? I tried adding clover and it installs, but no Clover on my mac. So I cannot continue to the EFI on the USB I created with terminal.
I used clover configurator to get rid of all the video glitches. Followed the instructions in the first post here https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/skylake-intel-hd-530-graphics-glitch-fix.206410/ Worked like a champ.
Thanks again
The only thing I forgot to do in the BIOS was XCHI Handoff to enabled. Installed with no problems after that. I had to work on the sound, but that was it.
The only thing I have is a small glitch on Safari tool bar with multiple windows open, but it is only on the tool bar section looks like digital tiling...not sure why that is. I have sound now, don't ask me how, it just started working...
Thank you! I started all over again selected optimized defaults, disabled serial port, and what I had not done XCHI Handoff to enabled. I had left it at disabled and that was buggering me up. I am posting from my new install! Used Migration assistant from my last TM backup. Still no sound...
So I decided to upgrade my system!

So I used the MB with the same Unibeast USB as before. Everything boots up just fine..but I have...
Not that I know of. I used the same USB when I built this with Lion...So we both did the same thing. Only thing I have hooked up is the keyboard and wireless mouse to the USB. I think you are on the right track with trying a different USB/SD...

You could try hitting "del" go into the bios and change your boot device to the USB...That is another option. I just did mine a couple of days and our systems are very similar.

Haven't been around in awhile, so just wanted to drop a line that I successfully updated to Mavericks...or at least for the last 2 days!! Created unibeast, did fresh install, then multi beast..and up and running. I did notice some small issues. When waking from sleep it appears there is a lag...
