Thanks for your input. I'm trying to follow your guide for the audio and had some questions.
So the steps would be
1. revert to AppleHDA.kext
2. install the SSDT-HDEF+-1.aml
3. run audio_cloverALC-130_v0.5.command
Is that right?

Are you referring to USB2 or 3? For me (on Sierra at least), I had no problem with USB2 following dnovosad's original directions (using the DSDT).
I've been banging my head trying to get a solution to my problem, and couldn't find anything in the forums. I have bluetooth working on Sierra 10.12.6 (mouse / keyboard). I can connect to my bluetooth headphones, but cannot hear any audio. Audio through the line out / headphone (wired) works...
