Thank You for Your exhaustive answer. The thing is my MOBO is unruly with anything but MacPro3,1.. Current setup is just rock solid, and every attempt on changing system definition ends with problems, but I think it's matter of time to give it a try anyway.. I just needed to know why.
Yes, tried several of those solutions, but it seems like Apple blocked something on their side for my account - since then no solution worked, but it's not important :) Thankfully I bought only several software through crap store.

I also can't use my App Store account since 10.11.2 (IIRC) - it was blocked for my hack.. so I can't install anything directly from AppStore anyway ;)

is there a single reason for power user to upgrade to 10.12? I have found nothing interesting.. Literally.
