I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem withYosemite displaying the dock and HD's on the far right screen and saying that the right screen is display1 when it should be number 2? during boot it is correct.
So i got my Overclock to work by removing NullCPUPowerManagement and then restarting using the -f flag to reset the lexts and it kicked in. Not sure if that was it or not, but everything is working now.
How far do you get with the install? I did a complete re-install from scratch, not an upgrade. Here is how i did it.
BTW i no longer have the 6870 in my mac, i have the GeForce 570. so i had to use some flags also.
So After i follow the basic install instructions (listed on the main 10.9...
Yes, i had no problems at all. actually the bluetooth worked and lan worked before even using Multi-beast, that was cool. But i did go and use the new multi-beast with he same settings i used in previous OS X updates, but now the only thing that doesn't work is the Over clock.
Hopefully someone...
Has anyone had any success with getting their overclock's back up? IMine was fine before the mavericks update, and now with the same DSDT and SSDT it stays between x16-x35? any ideas?
My overcock with DSDT worked fine on 10.8.5 and for some reason after the update and new multibeast, it won't go past 3.5.
I have:
asus p8z68-v pro/gen3
Intel i7
I'm not sure what else i should post to help out.
Did i miss something in the upgrade that i need to delete? or Null?
I think it either has something to do with the Multibeast 5.5 install or the video card kexts i had to install to get my geforce working now that we have tried everything else...
Okay after running the HDEF Injector /patch in DSDT i compile and ge tthese errors, which i assume are related to why it's not working:
1099 Unknown reserved name (_WDG)
1099 Unknown reserved name (_WDG)
1099 Unknown reserved name (_WED)
1099 Unknown reserved name (_WED)

I have HDEF injected into DSDT and Use SSDT for Overclock. And all i have in S/L/E is AppleHDA.kext. Sound has always worked fine with this setup for two years almost until Multibeast 5.5 was run...It even worked after 10.8.5...
Yes the SSDT is for the overclock. So which one do i get rid of then? DSDT was for necessary for my mobo i was told (Asus P8Z68 V Pro Gen3 ...
as for the console system log during kextcache here is what i had:
Sep 24 18:03:01 jasons-mac-pro authexec[7632]: executing /usr/sbin/kextcache...
Okay, i tried that, normally i don't have the HDAEnabler kext in my S/L/E, and i do use a DSDT and SSDT. AM i missing something? How do i make it load the AppleHDA.kext?
I have installed MUltibeast 5.5 about 10 times now and I Select-Drivers & Bootloaders Drivers - Audio - Realtek ALC8xx - With DSDT √ ALC8892.
Restart
No audio.
I followed your steps and posted my results, screenshots, ioreg in the OP. Hdef is correct according to your guide. Please...
Okay, I'll try that now, where are you getting your HDAEnabler1 kext from? I don't seem to have one in my a/l/e after multibeast install...did I miss something besides Audio with dsdt?
