    Windows 7 is actually pretty good...there are things about each that are good and bad. I think you need to spend enough time on OS X and learn more advanced features like services to really appreciate it.

    Which SSD? If you do not have TRIM enabled, performance will suffer over time...some quicker than others. If your SSD is 80% or more full of data (not deleted data but data you are using), it will slow down even faster and TRIM can't do it's job well. You can secure erase it using THIS...

    FYI - I have the same dongle and I'm not having any issues with the trackpad so there may be hopes that you can find what is conflicting and remedy it. I didn't do a thing extra to get it to work.

I'm wondering why not 4,1 or 5,1? *EDIT* i see that it defaults to this...still wondering what the difference...
