jithin, you had been involved in a similar issue about a month ago. I'm currently attempting this fix:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-support/161406-black-screen-after-10-10-3-update.html
Currently giving clover shot but, for whatever reason, booting to the installer takes about an hour (no exaggeration). Did I miss something there? it's almost its running at USB 1 speeds
okay, no luck with either of these solutions. I still get no video output when using the 9600gt. I DID happen to notice this though… When i browse my pci connections in BIOS, my 9600gt is recognized as a "vga" device. I cannot find anywhere in BIOS that will allow me to change this. You stated...
Same thing. The monitor looses the input. blank screen and my monitor goes into standby mode.
3rd party data
Null cpu power management
fake smc 6.14
evoreboot
elliotforceRTC
chimera 4.0.1
kext dev mode
DVI-DVI for both cards
Unfortunately, these boot flags result in the same...
Which Nvidia kext am I missing?
Hey guys,
Dell t7400
Xeon 5472 x2
Nvidia quadro fx5600 (or 9600gt)
8gb ddr2 640 ECC ram
A09 bios
I've got everything working on my dell t7400 except for video. I used multibeast/unibeast for installation. No DSDT but almost everything else works...
Bump. Hard drive is fine.
I'm at a loss here. Mavericks runs perfectly with no edited DSDT and only a few kexts (evoreboot, nullcpupower, etc.)
Yosemite either runs like complete garbage or kernel panics after the first reboot (right after installation).
Hey guys, I've got my t7400 booting on its own with a few kexts and unibeast.
My issue now is, its running like garbage once it boots. It won't even run finder.
Looking at the processor speeds in "about this mac", I'm seeing 2x 4.3. In reality, I'm running 2 3.0 x5472 xeons...
